Hillary Clinton …. and the Mansion Madam?
Just look at who Sylvester Stallone’s Rocky is inspiring these days…And Thursday night, Jay Leno had the Tonight Show band play the Rocky theme song as the former First Lady sashayed onto the set … a little good-natured ribbing of the former First Lady for entering Rocky Rehab.
Down in delegate count, down in the polls, Hillary embraces America’s underdog icon…casting herself as The Contender, maybe down for the count, but not out of the fight? Right.
Let Obama take the heat, while she takes a breather. In the politics of expectations, the underdog (or underb–ch) is king…or queen.
Something Dixie’s suburb sex kitten understood months before Hillary whiz kids catch the drift.
In our exclusive sitdown last year, Lisa Taylor, aka, the so-called Mansion Madam of Duluth, Ga., resident of conservative Sugarloaf Country Club Estates fame…home to ex-neighbors Michael Vick, Beyonce, Moral Majority founder Ralph Reed and others…
There, Taylor, or ex-Penthouse Pet Melissa Wolf, pleads Rocky Rehab before she pleads guilty to running a lil ol’ brothel in the burbs, drawing a $150,000 fine (but no jail time) as she puts her million dollar mansion on the line, and up for sale.
Do you think invoking Rocky helped conjure public sympathy, curvaceous undergal pitching herself as David up against a Goliath DA as Gwinnett County’s Danny Porter?
As we’ll be reporting soon…her underdog status, sources tell us, helped soften her image and may be about toland Lisa a gig as a purring pitchwoman for a major nutrition supplement outfit.
Nope, Naughty Nikki, won’t be her sidekick this time, after purportedly turning state’s evidence and copping a plea.
Let us know what you think: does Rocky Rehab work? Will it buy Hillary another round with Obama, the almost Clinton slayer? Will it help her go the distance? If millions turn to Rocky clips on utube to get inspired, why not?
Please send us tips of others who have used or invoked Rocky to save the day…

I have no doubt that she is good, even her husband with his sexual affairs might have been good…except for not knowing what the word ‘Is’ means.
But, you know I stil have awesome respect for the Knight in shining armor…of age, and those that put their lives on the line and fight on the front lines and can’t raise their arms higher than this mighty…media force.
Yet, then again, maybe they do and can…and maybe we should just respect our elders.
what do you think about John, and what’s in a name?
I say let’s get on with ‘it’…I actually think those polititians are playing some kinda game.
We really need a lot of good humor.
Isn’t that an ice scream?

Just a thought, what if everyone who voted this Nov, wrote in the blank space (where you can write in a name) NONE OF THE ABOVE, would that change the process of these characters running for office.
April 4th, 2008 at 6:09 am
The White House needs a change of residents.
In the past 28 years, we have had either a Bush of Clinton holding either a VP office or the Presidents office.
8 years of Senior Bush as a VP
4 Years as a Pres.
8 Years of Clinton as Pres.
8 Years of Jr Bush as Pres.
April 4th, 2008 at 3:10 pm
sure do need a change and if anyone looks at the peter Paul trial in California,Paul versus Clinton and read some of the pelliicano and scroll down thru the web links to see some of the people mostly big time money that he had dealings with, anyone would see why we need a change.Mrs kind of blerw her punch line so no I don’t think it will or did work.
April 4th, 2008 at 3:10 pm
Senator Clinton kind of blew her punch line

The voting process established that America can vote for their candidate until any candidate reaches a specific delegate count (regular delegates, not super delegates). Since neither Hillary or Obama can reach that number, it is understood and encouraged, that America continue to vote for their candidate of choice. Hillary evoked the Rocky story because Obama supporters for the most part and individuals not comprehending just how wrong it would be, were asking for support to get Hillary to just quit the race to the Whitehouse and let Onama be the nominee. ANYONE, taking that position, does not believe in the democratic and election process or the individual right to run for a public office. She should have evoked the Rocky story as it is entirely appropriate. SHE HAS NOT BEEN PRESIDENT therefore, it is her right to apply for the job. Her resume, creditials, experience, proposals on issues dictate she should and will be, our next President. because her

Wondered what happened to to the million dollar madam Loved the video Art.Hilarious just great. Now we need one of the 3AM phone call.I will say at least Hillary can make fun of herself but them again waht else can she do about the bosina incident and dodgeing bullets. What is the million dollar madam up to now,to earn a living I mean.Just goes to show like tn the OJ deal you can’t trust your so clled friends when it comes to doing jail time.I haven’t heard about this woman giving up any names,of customers I mean and I am sure she could have.Hope she asked some of them to help her with her fine,it’s the least they could do.
April 5th, 2008 at 1:05 am
Senator Obama has always said she should continue,He has never said, that I have seen or read that she should quit.If everyone looks up what the two of the Clintons and yes she Hired Pellicano to dig up dirt on Ms Flowers and IMO knew what she was doing. This just has not got the play like some other stories have had.If the two trials and all the paperwork was put out for all to see people would change their minds in a hury. We do not need nor want another Clinton to destroy our countries reputation with scandal after scandal, which IMO she will bring to the whitehouse if elected

#8, Must agree with you that both democrate nominees need to stay in this race until no other choice is left for one of them.
The problem I have with the campaign is the millions upon millions of dollars spent. Money that could help feed hungry Americans, pay medical for those who cannot afford it, help people keep their homes.
Regulations should be put into place to limit the number of months prior to an election they can campaign and amount of money each canidate can spend.
April 5th, 2008 at 3:50 pm
You know what clipper those are my7 exact thoughts. the million spent and we still go on
April 5th, 2008 at 11:09 pm
I’m still waiting for Art to run…
Of course, we know he’s not ‘that way.’

Does anyone know if Obama has truly given up cocaine? Let’s hope so for the sake of this country if he should happen to be our next president, God forbid.
Anyone who joins a church who has a preacher that is racist and is also against Jews, should not be running for president of this country or any other country for that matter.
I don’t believe for one minute that Obama didn’t know his minister is a racist. In the over 20 years since being a member of that “church” there is no way in hell that he doesn’t know exactly what his minister is “preaching”. He chose to belong to that “church” and he has stayed in it. You don’t join and stay with a “church” like that and not feel the way the rest of the members and minister feels, or you would leave the church.
I believe he lied when he said he didn’t know that his “minister” said the things he said.
April 7th, 2008 at 12:21 am
Clipper: I agree with you that the money the candidates spend on campaigning could and should be spent on worthwhile things.
It is terrible that so much money is spent on themselves, all of them. It’s really obscene.
April 7th, 2008 at 4:01 pm
And for that “minister” to be so full of hate, he did not even suffer, had a real nice life if I read correctly.
Nelson Mandela was thrown into prison for his opposition to apartheid, yet after 27 years in prison, he came out and preached NOTHING but reconciliation. He had all the reason to continue raging like Obama’s friends but he did not.
Mandela even took all the widows of the apartheid presidents who threw him in prison (Verwoerd and Botha’s) for tea, and did they have a great tea party.
I grew up in South Africa that is why I know.
So Obama’s excuses are just EXCUSES for politians acting as “ministers” to use race issues for their own political gain.
April 8th, 2008 at 1:27 pm
Joni the only thing I have tyo say is anything but either of the Clintons in the whitehouse again???
April 8th, 2008 at 11:57 pm
Joy, I agree, and that “minister” is not like any minister I have ever heard in my church and I can honestly say that no minister in my church would ever, ever, say anything remotely resembling the things Wright said.
No real man of God would ever say anything racist or say anything against Jews. Never. They would never say anything bad about anyone unless it was an evil person. I am a United Methodist, by the way.

Hmmmm, I don’t really want to allienate anyone here, because we have all been together for over a year now, but I think Bill Clinton was a pretty good president. I also think Hillary would make a much better one than Obama or McCain.
I find it interesting that Obama was looking toward the presidency in his first year as a senator. That’s a bit too ambitious to me. He hasn’t even finished his first term yet. He doesn’t have the experience. I do not trust him. I have a bad feeling about him and what he is really about. No one knows anything about him and yet they are taken in so by him. That is a little scary.
I had the same feeling about Moe Brighthaupt and I think I was right about that. I just hope I’m wrong about Obama.
April 10th, 2008 at 1:46 pm
It is a frightening prospect to think of Obama in a high place in government. It would be much like Al Sadr or whatever his name is in Iraq.
After hearing Michelle Obama and their prized spiritual leader’s speech, if I had never known good non-white people, I would be terrified. Reverend Wright’s rantings and spasms while preaching “the word of God” is enough to convince me to continue to be a non-religious person. If that is the word of God, I would rather go to hell.
I was born and raised (as were my parents, grand-parents and great-grandparents) in a place where the minority were whites 1% (one percent). My parents were school teachers, coming from a long line of educators, not slave owners. Just want to make it clear.
April 10th, 2008 at 10:28 pm
Isabel: “That” is not the word of God. I can assure you of that. The hate that comes from the mouth of Wright, is straight from the devil. I can assure you of that also.
Things are just starting to come to light about Obama and none too soon. He is connected to alot of violent people, and he also says on his TV commercials (in PA) that he doesn’t take money from lobbyists, but he does indirectly. He is a liar at best and I think there is a whole lot more to come out about him. This is one person that really scares me and what scares me more, are the people that have taken to him without knowing what he’s really about. They are so taken in by the wrong people.
I do believe that Obama has an agenda and we won’t know what it is until it’s too late, if he is elected president.
I read that when he joined that “church”, he had to pledge his alliegence to Africa first and formost. He had to go down there and do some work also. I don’t know if this is all totally accurate or not, but I do think he needs to be looked into more thoroughly.
It’s time the American people start to use the brains they were born with.
