D.C. Madam 911 Suicide Call, So Sad…
By Bald Truth Staff, (c) www.artharris.com, all rights reserved
A daughter’s suicide, a mother’s anguish, millions in taxpayer dollars down the rathole to investigate what many call a victimless crime…
Some believe Deborah Jeane Palfrey, aka “The D.C. Madam,” and maybe the college professor who also committed suicide after she was exposed for teaching by day and tricking by night, are the only real victims here. Digital era Hester Prynes stamped with the Scarlet e-mails.
A couple of names hit the media and vanished, a Louisiana senator, some State Department guy no one will remember. No Johns were prosecuted; the judge sealed DP’S computer records to spare her clients embarrasment.
Did Palfrey tie a rope around her neck and kill herself?
Veteran investigative journalist Diane Dimond raises serious questions: suicide … or murder? And interviews a Georgia minister who was in contact with Palfrey and doesn’t buy suicide.
Police say Palfrey’s 76-year-old mother, Blanche, found the Madam hanging in a shed behind her Florida home, and her 911 call– almost too sad to hear–is a stark reminder of the tragic human toll that comes with suicide…or something more sinister.
On Diane’s compelling news blog, Dimond Dish, we meet the compassionate minister who was in e-mail contact with the D.C. Madam.
Palfrey feared a long prison sentence after serving 18 months years ago behind bars in California. But suicide by hanging? Not your usual MO for a woman–usually pills, or in the case of another convicted Madam I know who attempted it in the crazed days after indictment…slit wrists.
Check out Diane’s take on Deborah Jeane, her name evoking the aura of mystery that still hangs around the memory of one Norma Jeane, aka Marylin Monroe. Her deadly circumstance, redolent with White House intrigue and JFK nostalgia, has become the stuff of conspiracy buffs as will no doubt the D.C. Madam, raising, or slamming shut, a window into the pop culture of sex, scandal and politics.

You have no idea how MAD I GET, WHEN THE MEN GET TO GO ON THE MERRY WAY,WHILE A WOMAN WHO DID NOTHING BUT SUPPLY THEM for they own pleasure ,is dead, when are those spineless men going to get what they deserve.?

What a shame! There will be no books written by the madam. After breathing a sigh of relief, the married johns will resume their way of life.

Hi Art
First of all if she was going to commit suicide I do not believe she would do it at her Mothers house. She went to her Mom’s house looking for a little peace and solice, she wasn’t angry with her Mother and from the times I seen her on TV or what I have read about her she certainly didn’t seem crazy, so why would she hurt her Mother like that?
It is so sad that she was the 1 being charged and all these slimy man get away scott free, not even having their names made public. I am sure there are a few of them out there that really don’t want their names associated with this case and would do anythink to makes sure that dosen’t happen.
It will be interesting to see what happens with her little black book, or has it already gome missing??
I believe there is alot more to this story, too many things just don’t add up.

I’m not sure if I buy the suicide. She had alot of powerful men angry at her. Actors are expected to be bad boys but
the men in D.C. are votered into office. Of course they never went after the rich, powerful men. I don’t think there will be any kind of investigation after all it’s just a dead woman.

I would like people to stop and think, what would you do if you thought your daughter was murdered?ME,I would move heaven and earth,to bring whoever did it to justice,I AM SURE,MS PALFREY has had many talks with her mother whom she was staying with,so if you follow that logic,WHY HANG MS PALFREY,In the age of tape recorders, video cameras, what good would it do any of her johns to kill her.myself I do believe she committed suicide,I believe she wanted to spare her mother, the daily media coverage, the humiliation, and could not bear the thought of prison.

Since her mother and sister verified that the handwriting in the notes that were left, it seems to rule out anything other than suicide. I still think that the men involved should be exposed. Prosecuting one side is NOT equal justice.

Do not forget Anna Nicole in this saga, lots of political clout there not to mention the entertainment industry.

The call from the mother is so sad..
Smells like murder to me… Washington can be a real nasty place.
Thanks Art

The letters being verified as her hand writing kind of says it all.I agree that the men involved should also be exposed.
Going after her and doing nothing to them just does not seem fair.

D.C. is a cesspool. If her family verified the handwrighting, then it could possibly be suicide, unless someone made her write them.
I can’t imagine someone hanging themselves for their 76 year old mother to find. That is horrible. I can’t believe a daughter would do that to her elderly mother. She could have done this anywhere. It bears further looking into.

Ooops! I misspelled handwriting, lol. Guess I was used to spelling Wright, lol.

VERY sad indeed. Suicide or murder. Does it matter? She is dead and the men are laughing all the way to their next affair. Gag.

this is just to sad ..
there is no way she would kill her self , for her poor mother to find her , i say murder ,,
she would have gone to a hotel room to do such a thing , to spear her mother from seeing this ,
this was plain murder , and to give mother a notice if theres a book around , you have better not use it ..
also why in the world did the judge keep her laptop ?? had all the men,, i use that loosely , names in here laptop ..why in Gods name did the judge not get those guys ,, must have been scared ,, or threathen ,,
hopefully something will slip out here …
