Exclusive: Misty Croslin Body Language Talks!

Even before she began flunking polygraphs and investigators dubbed her the Putnam County Princes of Prevarication, Misty Croslin was giving herself away with what one top body language expert calls “signals of deception.”
“She was lying” from the start, psychologist and body language guru Lillian Glass tells The Bald Truth, after watching Croslin in news clips for over a year, from distraught babysitter who reported Haleigh Cummings missing, to child bride of Ronald Cummings, to accused drug trafficker facing decades in prison, to witness (or unofficial suspect) in the disappearance of his five year old daughter.
“She constantly repeats herself, and bites her lip after she talks about the case,” Glass tells Bald Truth Special Correspondent Shelley Kreimer, in an exclusive interview about tell-tale body lingo criminals and celebrities often unwittingly broadcast as clues they are lying to your face…like inadvertently tensing the jaw, or straying from typical voice patterns.

Last year, Misty’s voice patterns showed deception in a Layered Voice Analysis test administered by Atlanta private investigator T.J. Ward, who reported his laptop software flashed FALSE when Croslin told him her ever-changing story about what happened the night she called 911 when she “couldn’t find Haleigh” 15 months ago. It was all part of a battery of exams, including a polygraph set up by Tim Miller of Texas Equusearch who says “she flunked miserably.”
We also reported exclusively she flunked a secret police polygraph Feb. 26 administered at the St. John’s County Jail where she was whisked from her cell and strapped to the machine as detectives nervously paced, hoping she’d experienced enough harsh reality to finally come clean enough to be able to take her story to the bank. My sources say they were very letdown.
A career speech pathologist before drawing on her body language training for clients and frequent guest expert on shows like HLN’s Nancy Grace, ET, The Insider and comedian Chelsea Handler, Lillian Glass calls it out on everyone from stars caught in Hollywood scandal, to key players in missing child cases like Haleigh Cummings.
She watches for tiny changes in body language that may reveal whether someone needs to be considered a suspect, or knows more than they’ve revealed, as Misty Croslin has finally confirmed, and details what everyone needs to look for to avoid “Toxic People,” title of her bestseller.
In watching interviews with Croslin’s grandmother Flora Hollars, Glass calls thst colorful Tennesseean “a sincere woman” who is telling the truth and shows no pretenses or defenses. “She expresses great integrity when she looks directly at the interviewer,” Glass tells the Bald Truth. “She speaks fluently and never hesitates.”
As for Misty’s brother, Tommy Croslin, Glass predicted he was ready “to come clean” before he claimed to Hollars in a collect call from the St. John’s County Jail that cousin Joe Overstreet took Haleigh and “needed to pay.” Overstreet denies any involvement.
Glass says Tommy Croslin’s body language speaks loud and clear—he’s afraid, “practically screaming how badly he wants out.”
In the eyes of experts like Glass, the unwitting body signals of Misty, Tommy and others have been revealing the truth from Day One –– that they know what happened to the bubbly five-year-old from Satsuma, Florida when they were claiming they didn’t.
Liars beware when body language translators are watching, especially law-enforcement trained Patti Wood, dubbed the “Babe Ruth of body language experts, the gold standard,” by The Washington Post. Once besting a polygraph for accuracy, Wood holds a B.A. and a masters in body language, lectures across the country, teaches a sell-out course at Emory University and appears on too many television shows to count.
She began her career, determined to use her skills in law enforcement, and worked several years alongside police as a barometer of truth to help read what accused or convicted sexual predators were really saying.
Wood says she observes more than a polygraph can measure. “I’m watching the whole body, not just measuring changes in respiration and galvanic skin response,” she says. “What people do with their feet tells me a lot.”
Those with something to hide don’t stand a chance against Wood, who has a few tips for women on first dates, and concedes she’s made a few of her own feel a bit self conscious when they learn what she does. Some have confessed they felt like sitting on their hands, until the food arrived and they had to reach for their fork.
Consider this scene, says Wood… Eager for sparks to fly, you may sit over dinner, basking in the soft glow of candles, dizzy from cocktails and the banter of a smooth operator purring about instant chemistry. Then he leans back, oozing about how crazy he is for you…The words hit your brain, triggering an endorphin rush. You feel giddy, warm and fuzzy, stirrings of love, or…lust…excited you may have at last found The One. But… how can you be sure?
You can’t, says Wood, who hates to burst the bubble. Blinded by your sucker’s fantasy, you missed something you didn’t know to look for, a signal he may be buttering you up for a fall. “If someone leans away from you as they tell you something positive, the words do not match the body language, and they are probably not telling the truth,” Wood tells our Shelley Kreimer.
Patti has spent hours dissecting and interpreting newsmakers from President Obama to exes like Bill Clinton, for the likes of Fox’s Neil Cavuto, CNN’s Wolf Blitzer and other acclaimed journalists and shows. She watched O.J. Simpson signal guilt in the way he glared at witnesses and fought back a giant smirk when the verdict was announced…She once climbed into bed on air (fully clothed) with Regis and Kathy Lee, interpreting how a spooning couple’s position reveals about how they truly feel about each other.
She lectures top Fortune 500 firms and CEOs on how to use body language to hire, fire, promote and boost the bottom line, and translates what celebs and politicians are really saying as they squirm, trying to wiggle out of sticky situations they’ve created.
Take the infamous Bill Clinton line, “I did not have sexual relations with that woman.” Like Obama, Clinton scores highly on factors used to measure charisma. But in Clinton’s case, says Wood, sex appeal has helped him get away with more than a little mischief in his lifetime. She says beware the charming smile and handsome demeanor, because body language and word structure tell the real story.
Referring to ex-trystee Monica Lewinsky, Patti tells The Bald Truth it was very odd that Clinton did not use a contraction when he chose to say, “did not” versus “didn’t” have “sexual relations with this woman.” She calls it “unusual wording for someone, a sign that they are lying.”
That’s why context is so important when she assesses someone’s true intent, she says, because “we need to know what is their normal behavior and whether they are acting out of character.”
Psychologist Lillian Glass tells The Bald Truth she was cruising backstage at the Oscars, when she spied Sandra Bullock and her now disgraced husband Jesse James before media exposure of his sexual trysts behind her back. When Bulloch won the Oscar, many observers saw his tears as joy for his wife’s triumph. But they didn’t have the full picture, says Glass.
“James was fidgety and seemed agitated, even ignoring Bullock at times,” Glass tells us, saying he was crying tears of embarrassment and shame, not pride. “He knew he’d been caught cheating,” she says, “and wore his lies across his face.”
But Tiger Woods was a shocker, even for pros like Glass, and Wood.
He just breaks the mold, they say, falling into a tiny category of people are who are so rehearsed, so poised, that hardly anyone can spot their deceit from body language alone.
“There are levels of liars,” Wood tells us. “A select few people, often politicians or actors, who can pathologically hide their true emotions. You have to be very talented to do this. That’s why we only see it in a tiny percentage of the population.”
Glass says Tiger rarely, if ever, displayed classic signs of deceit, like averting the eyes, licking his lips, repeating words, tensing jaw muscles.
On the other hand, Misty Croslin serves up a smorgasbord of lies, take your pick. And if she’s arrested, and charged in Haleigh Cumming’s dissappearance, as sources tell The Bald Truth several suspects may be within weeks, Glass says that will show poilce may finally have enough evidence to back up what the body language of several players in the case have been screaming all along.

If you go back to one of the jail house interviews Misty had with her Dad when he ask Misty can she come home?…Misty says something like yeah I hope she can, but her head is nodding side to side…. Her Body Landuage tells alot…..

Great article, Art. Talking about body language, that picture that you have of Misty sitting in front of Tommy in court has always piqued my curiosity. SHE never looks at him. EVER, as far as I can tell. In fact, she uses her long hair as a shield of sorts. Almost like she is disgusted by him.(or ashamed that “her” actions have landed them there). But maybe she was just afraid if she looked at him, their eyes would reveal too much and that’s why they didn’t connect. As one of five siblings though (who sometimes got in trouble), I can’t imagine not acknowledging and communicating in any form whatsoever if we were hauled into court at the same time.
Have Patty Wood or Lillian Glass critiqued that photo? I’d be most interested to hear their perspectives regarding said picture. (It could be worth a thousand words) They both look haunted by something.
Chelsea is working everyone involved in this case. I can understand needing money, but if you were just trying to show that your in-laws (Misty and Tommy) were totally innocent in the case of a missing and presumed dead child, wouldn’t you be showing that letter to all the media you could, to get the truth out, to eliminate questions about their newfound honesty? I don’t believe Chelsea is in the dark about their involvement, whatever that might be.

Although we know the drug charges are tantamount in this case, more so for Miss Misty, How come the District Attorney has not charged her with Child Endangerment as well? She is the last person who saw her. this same question would also hold true for RC. He left his children in the care of a very questionable young girl and he knew what she was into as he was into the same.

I would be curious to know if Lillian Glass, and Patti Wood can differentiate between “covering for” lies, and “guilty” lies? We know Misty is lying, but for whom; herself or another/s? For instance, when Misty was on the Today Show, Meredith asked her a question. She looked at Ron for the answer. When he didn’t help, she said, “I don’t know”…To me that is a “covering for” lie..It could also mean she truly doesn’t know, but that wasn’t my read on it..

Can the D.A. press charges of Child Neglect/Endangerment on either Ronald or Misty in light of what happened to Haleigh?
Also, If Ronald did plead out and implicate Misty as being the frontrunner for this drug deal gone bad; could she or her parents, in turn, press charges against Ronald for Statutory Rape since she was under age when they got together? Would it make a difference that he eventually married and then divorced her?

I love Lillian Glass. I think the work she does is so interesting. I also love to listen to Pat Brown. Yes, Art! I Love you too. Thanks so much for staying on top of this case. I hope your sources are on point and we only have too wait just a few more weeks for an arrest in Haleighs disappearance.
Whereas, Joe Overstreet could be involved but it will not be the story Misty is telling. There will be so much more. I cannot honestly say Ronald is involved, but in all honesty that would come as a shock to me. He is the most strange grieving father I have ever seen. This is why I believe he knows what happened to his daughter.
I pray he gets no plea deal! He is 26 years old and I believe to be the leader ;not Misty. He has a rap sheet much longer than all who was arrested in this drug sting. He has a missing daughter and you would think he would want to be a much better father now to his son Jr. That was not the case. He still chose his same lifestyle over the welfare of his child. He even spoke of Haleigh in the drug sting and begged the UC not to tell anyone! This is only because the finger pointing to him would begin again.
I pray Haleigh will now get her JUSTICE!!!! Thank you! Gods Speed

I think any ordinary layman could use any of the intterogation devices and depending on the operator’s pre-conceived state of mind, could find enough to find the user either failing or passing. It is all about what the person giving the test is led to believe in his own mind as to the outcome of the test.

It is very hard to believe Joe just killed little Haleigh b/c the gun was not there… Then putting up flyers w/Misty the next morning.. Did Joe kill Haleigh, then after getting rid of her, go back to Timmie’s, go right to sleep and get up the next morn, and barrow the van again to put flyers up??? And did Tommy go home, and go right to bed??? At one point Misty was turning on her family… She was w/ Ron when he put the rat in the mailbox… Why wouldn’t she tell Ron about Joe and Tommy then??? I think this is all BS..

I am beginning to wonder if TC is the one who everyone is afraid of? In looking back over reports from last year and before they all were arrested, seems TC had/has a history of prior violence against his own father and MC-She took out a Restraining Order because he caused bodily injury on her person and then she redacted it the day TC fought w/his father when the cops were called-This was just before he was taken into custody for drugs. I’m starting to wonder where all these people are getting their drugs. When TC was arrested, he supposedly said the meds belonged to his father; this would perhaps go hand and hand with the Dr. shopping? you tell me.
I guess we will have to wait until next week on the continuation of this story.

You know – I agree it is hard to believe a person would kill a child cause the gun he wanted to get wasn’t there…but we don’t know the WHOLE story. Cause all these fools were and are drug addicts and drug dealers(small time of course..but any drug dealing is a CRIME.)
Anyway, we don’t know if they all took a bunch of pills, pot, alcohol, crack, cocaine, heroin etc..etc….all that night or whatevr.
Drugs can make people do scary and wicked things!! Just look at the other killings by drug dealers…or killing by meth addicts…looking to steal money/things etc…for their drug habit.
No, everyone of these “players” are guilty! Everyone of them is hiding something and not one of them have a caring loving bone in their body for the child. They only care about themselves! Because they are narcissitic drug addicts..just like Casey Anthony…narcisisstic(spelled wrong I think, sorry) jerk that she is…and their parents will cover for them…heck that’s why the hell they are the WAY THEY ARE!! They have NO parenting! Their parents are addicts…dealers..etc….thus the cycle keeps repeating….maybe SOMEONE will finally break the sick cycle of drugging and drinking and killing and stealing ONE of these days in their generations?

Art…please explain what LP was talking about when he said Joe had stopped somewhere on his way home from Florida and threw all his stuff in a trash can. If you know about that, PLEASE tell us what you know. It sounds like a very odd thing to do. He said LE actually retrieved Joe’s belongings and found nothing, but it’s a long road from Fla to Tenn with many places to stop in between. Did Joe explain why he did that if it did happen? Sounds pretty suspicious on the surface. A bit off topic but i found it to be an interesting part of the case. I’m surprised that i hadn’t heard that before, was it talked about and i just happened to miss it? Thanks as always!

I agree with #11. I too would like to know what they think about Joe’s reaction when he says he didn’t do it. To me, the non expert, i thought possibly he was actually remembering (visualizing)something he had witnessed. To me, the van is the key to this case and i still believe it’s very possible Joe was called to bring the van, not exactly knowing what he was going there for. Only thing is though, Joe seemed a little too sympathetic toward people who are trying to frame him for killing a child. The whole family is blaming him.

Just read the article (very professional and informative) and watched many of the videoclips above. As well as body language, it talks about the way certain people phrase things. I noticed in the article it says LE stated they expect to make several arrests in the coming weeks. I am assuming several means more than two. The obvious two are Misty and Tommy, but several means more than just them otherwise they would just say arrests. Maybe i am reading too much into it but it sounds to me that for LE to make a statement like that they must have a lot more evidence than we are aware of, and against more than two people. Would you say this is accurate?

New phone calls are out now between Tommy and his family. In one of the 1st calls, it sure sounds like he watched something from the back van windows with JO and probably Haleigh and a knife was involved. Shuddering information to say the very least! I know he has told untruths, but this bit of information sounds truthful for some reason. Why can’t LE just pick up JO on suspicion? These punks SHOULD HAVE said something on day one.

Could a body language expert be called as a witness during a trial. Also I have been told by others who have studied in this field that it is not considered an exact science or reliant science as many other factors come into play . . Such as nervousness shyness etc.

Correct me if I am wrong, but we are sending an 18 yr old first time offender to a life sentence for selling pills provided to her by undercover and friend’s dentist and she turns around and gives Ron and Donna the money. We are sending her to prison because we “think” she is guilty so it is detrimental that she be punished severely. Got to admit lady justice is truly blind to what men are doing in her name. It would be very easy to sleep through the light being turned on and Haliegh wakes up expecting to see her Dad and instead encounters whoever and is whisked away. But then that person may never be found so someone has to pay. Hope prison will be kinder to Misty than life so far has been to her.

In some states 17 is considered an adult and no charges could be pressed. If they did try to press charges Ronald could use retaliation as a defense. In addition her parents had to sign the paperwork in order for the both to be married.

It’s interesting to note that, in the newest HC/MC tape, Misty mentions to Hank Sr. that she gave her key to the trailer back to Ron that week. So, that gels with my theory that she left the kids home alone and she herself left the back door propped open so that she could get back in.
Ron calls Tommy (around 9pm) to ask if Misty was with him, Tommy goes over to the trailer to check, and finds the door propped open. Just walk right through the door to steal drugs, guns, money, what have you. But then, something terrible happens. He can’t leave Haleigh’s body there for Misty to find, so he stashes her body in the dumpster the dogs hit on, heads home to be there when Linds arrives, waits for her to go to sleep, and then calls Timmy’s house for help getting rid of the body. Wouldn’t surprise me to find out that it was Timmy, and not Joe, who drove the van…but time will tell (hopefully).
Just my opinion, mind you.

I still wonder if Haleigh’s little body wasn’t first placed in the dumpster and then removed before police were called because I remember very well that a handler of these dogs came on NG or one of these programs and said a dog would NOT make a false hit…but that was exactly what LE brushed this off as….doesn’t help find the body but could explain why Tommy was called to help…

This whole case has GROWN way out of proportion..This is about a little girl..and of course they need to look at everyone surrounding her, to see if they could be the suspect, but do you notice..they NEVER EVER talk about the REAL MOMS SIDE OF THE FAMILY??? Only MISTYS..Misty might have been the last person to see her, (according to the stories we hear) but that DOESNT MEAN EVERYONE SHOULD BLAME MISTY AND HER FAMILY..THE MEDIA BELIEVES misty has the key.. I dont think..misty knows anything more than we do. Listen to the tapes. she has told over and over she doesnt know..she also states from the beginning she THINKS JOE might have been involved, by the van having a scratch on it etc..no one will believe her, they WANT MORE from her, so she is trying to give them more, even though their isnt more to give them, she probably feels trapped and doesnt have a clue what she should do.

And, the media is constantly talking about her family every move they make every single WORD they say is deciphered into (maybe its a clue, WHY did they say that or act that way) I feel sorry for her mother and father..they have been thru the ringer, everyone knows ALL their business, all their dirty laundry..that is TOTALLY UNFAIR..every conversation they have with their kids are taped, its totally insane, WHY hasnt anyone done that with anyone else before? I feel Misty is to the point she knows Ron has did nothing but use her for a babysitter and a sex toy, and his family went along w/that… a little more time for Misty to realize this is reality, she will come out fireing, and probaly put in a few lies w/it…. she will try to cremate Ron and his Mama….Ron knows Misty don’t like pills but loves pot, and he was the ring leader…

After going over the past histronics of most of the players, it appears Misty got the shyt knocked out her a number of times, prior to Haleigh missing, not only by Ron, but by the mother of another drugged desperado, probably for retaliation. I guess you just never know who did what to do this to Haleigh-Was it just the guys after drugs or a gun-Maybe, but I don’t think so. Was it a couple of loser young women who was going to teach Misty a lesson, could be. Did they get a guy involved in this? Anything is possible.
I think it’s time to stop feeling sorry for Ron’s mother and Grandmother- They didn’t want to babysit their own flesh and blood, but allowed Misty to do this-She is not family-was there 4 or 5 months-they probably knew what went on the weekend before and they knew damn well what she was into, besides Ron-They ignored their own flesh and blood and now praise a drugged flunkie.

They sat there awkwardly and I kept waiting for one of them to glance at the other and try a “Pssst!” maneuver, but it never happened. Misty was alrady sitting there when Tommy was brought in.

It was great to see you on JVM tonight, Art..I was hoping you would be on NG also, but she thinks LiLo is more important than Haleigh’s case..Who cares if Lindsay Lohan had a low cut blouse on in court today? I feel we are getting close to an arrest/s in Haleigh’s case, and this is what she talks about? I like NG, but I wish she would stick to what she does best, the crime shows. She may not have a choice in what airs nightly..Do you know if LE will be releasing any Ron tapes? I think they would be boring anyway..He is savvy to the media, and knows everything he says will be scrutinized..The others know that too, but they get carried away with themselves, since it’s all about THEM.. Now that Joe seems to be off the hook, who will Misty and Tommy accuse next? There’s only two left, Ron and Timmy, in their close circle..Of course there’s the “stranger abduction”, and the “drugs retaliation theories, but I don’t believe either, nor do I think Crystal’s family is hiding her..I’d like to hear pressers now and then from LE. I hope being quiet means they are close to bringing this case to an end, and will methodically lay out their findings soon.. IMO

Edie and gina #45, I also find it hard to believe a 17 year old girl is nothing more than a pawn in the game. Ron was 25 when he met her, i think, and she was love-sick. I think she’s covering something for Ron or about Ron. Something just doesn’t make sense about all those phone calls he made to the trailer. If Tommy had reassured him on the phone for whatever reason, Ron stopped on the way home for beer and cigs, then why didn’t Ron accuse Tommy of some involvement early on????? Something doesn’t seem right to me.

I guess i got a little too descriptive in a “could have happened this way” post. I just know innocent people don’t make up stories about what happened to a little girl. I’m quite sure what i described was probably something LE have considered but they have all the info, we have bits and pieces. Glad to see you on JVM Art, was hoping NG would have the tapes in more length, hopefully sometime soon. Gotta give Hank credit for trying, from the little we saw he tried and i’m sure it wasn’t an easy thing to do. No matter what he’s a father with two kids in jail looking at some serious time.

Art…I need clarification….The day Ronald and Misty were arrested for drug trafficking…Misty was in the front seat with the U/C agent, Ronald and Hope in the back seat…is this correct?
Ronald gets charged with 5 counts, Hope with 1 and Misty with 7…..why would Misty get charged with 7 and Ronald only 5????? Surely, they were in on their drug dealings together….since, Ronald is going to testify against Misty on the “drug” charges, then why couldn’t Misty testify against Ronald, implicating him on the 7 counts…not 5?
Also, Tommy was charged with one count…what is he bail set at? Why wouldn’t Leonard Padilla bail Tommy out?
In the Haleigh case, JOE DEFINITELY IS THE GUILTY party….when asked by the investigator if he had anything to do with her “missing case” he closed his eyes looking downward – a definitely sign of a lie.
The drug arrests appear to be all about “Haleigh” – however, the whole Haleigh scenario is about drugs!!!!! Could Misty have possibly failed her polys because of her limited intelligent — she just didn’t understand the questions????? or were the questions direct…”Did you kill Haleigh?”

Misty has lied from the first words she uttered on the 911 call. That Call with all the ranting and raving was the begining of the cover up.
Mistys response was a script given to her by Ron and his Family to cover his drug dealing business. She has displayed disception from the very begining. Thats why she can not pass a poly. Why did Misty go along with this lie because she is involved. Misty was seen by a neighbor walking around the MH on her phone crying at 2:30 am. Another neighbor heard a scream at that time. Many cars where coming and going during that time from the MH.
TN has lied When asked if any drugs where involved she said No. She knew all along her son had drug problems. TN suffers from the guilt, being a doormat and lying.
Misty will never tell the truth. None of the other players will either because they would face the penalities involved with the death of a child and they are all involved in some way. The codependency of drug addicts. They have their own amoral code. Amoral addicts are one of the sickest aspect of our society.
This is a Child that is dead but who in this family is seeking the truth? I am sorry to say this Art but Nancy has distorted many of the facts in this case to the public. I have lost respect for her protecting a Drug addict and Dealer.
Body language experts are very important aspects to any case as is Speech analysis. Art thank you for your articles.

Ron putting a gun in his mouth in an attempt to kill himself. Says during the 911 call I will kill anyone who took my child. He put a gun in his mouth in front of Tim Miller and his family was present. Why? Misty in tape saying Ron would kill himself if she left. Why did Ron kick Misty out of the house the week before Halieghs death.? She had told him she was pregnant and he kicked her out after he threw her against the wall? This is a violent man who has no self control. Why didn’t TN or GGS get help for Ron?

You know Jan Brady in the Nay nay interviews Art did way in the beginning it corraborates Misty story we just heard in those jail tapes that Marijuana was all she did until she met Ron.
Misty also says that Rons family said ever since she scoped out Ron there has been nothing but drama in their family. Misty said Ron scoped her out and that can be corraborated by Arts interview with Jerry Santos. He tells Ron 15 will get you 20 when Ron first sees Misty and is foaming from his pedophile mouth.
Misty also stated that Ron and Teresa kept telling her things to say and pressuring her. Well you can watch the Greta interview and see how well Ron tries to keep Misty on script.
Who knows now that Misty has heard Ron is going to testify against her in the drug case she may have blown up since these last jail tapes. Who knows what will come out next! Thanks Art.

Talking about Lindsay Lohan (briefly), the last time she was on the alcohol ankle monitor, she was photographed on the beach, day after day, with a slew of one nighters, (male, at that point in time) and an alcoholic drink was always present in her hand. Her secret to fooling the monitor? She put a slice of balogna in between her skin and the monitor. She may have used a skewer to stick in that tiny area but I remember reading an article wherein she confessed that that’s what she did. She makes me sick.

Hello. Are we going to hear about the contents of the letter? It would seem like if it had anything new or important LE would have kept the original letter. I assume they save anything that might be considered evidence for the future. Hope to see you on NG soon. I’m with those who don’t care about the Lohan story, but it might have been interesting for some. I do watch JVM and it’s always nice to see you on her show. Still hoping to see you get a show on HLN. That would be awesome! There are so many cases that need to be followed up on such as Nevaeh and Gabriel to name a few. I can see you being the one to cover those, bringing them back to the news might help! You are appreciated by many for what you do, whatever the format we would definitely watch.

Chelsea tells GFH about 309, GFH tells LE. Everyone in the family has now heard the story about what Joe said or what Ron said someone else said about Joe about Shell Harbor and body disposal.
Misty tells LE Tommy took her to Shell Harbor to show her where they dumped the body, (Art reports exclusively). Tommy says it a lie (according to another artharris.com story).
(We also read here, after flunking private poly) Tommy has come to Jesus moment and takes LE to Shell Harbor. Out of fear for his and familes life. Even though he is safe in Prison and his family is at risk with no protection. Sounds like what Casey said about the terrifing Nanny.
Misty tells GFH to call TN and GGS about the search site. GGS and TN go to site and walk through the woods searching or?, for half a day before search begins.
LE finally searches the area. 14 months later.!!!! Do we need the FBI on this case? Is there a bad apple in LE preventing a solution to this case? Do any of these Players know something about that bad apple. Why has Ron only got slapped on the hand for his pervious drug crimes? Seems like this County has more than its share of Drug problems. Perhaps this case needs some news eyes from the outside.
Recent Drug arrests LEs son. You mean to say no one at LE knew his son was running a meth shop in this small town? WBG,Ron, Misty, Tommy, Donna, And Hope. I am scratching my head in wonder.
I can’t beleive that LE has been fooled for 14 months by these Dealers and addicts who can’t spell or read. I think Satsuma has a problem.
I think its ironic that what they where trying to cover, their DRUG sales they are now in jail for. I do not believe that this crime will be solved cause it would expose to much corruption.

We keep hearing about the supposed obvious; JO, Tommy and Misty doing this, and I know a lot of other people have been cleared of any involvement, to this point, BUT…
Could there be any possibilty that this was done as a retaliation by some of the girls Misty hung out and fought with? IE: Nay, Nay, Amber, Crystal. They appear to be a bit two faced and diabolical, so does Lindsay. I wouldn’t trust any one of them, they could have pressed the guys into something and it then got out of hand because of the drugs.
There’s a somewhat new post RE Lindsay on the CNN website under IReport. Somebody sure spilled some things!

How do you let your entire department be out-smarted by the white trash croslin clan? I say prosecute the detectives as well for failing to provide justice.

Misty can’t tell the truth because the truth would be worse for her. Simple as that. (Tommy as well)
Neither of them would sit in jail to protect their families. They are not the stuff of heroes or martyrs. Their lawyers must have explained things.
If telling the truth would make things better for them one of them would have already spilled their guts and they would pass their detector test.
This means something more involved than the stories they’ve told already, and it means they co-star in it.

Miss seeing you on NG and JVM. I’m wondering if Misty gave Haleigh something to knock her out quick before her cousin Joe and her brother Tommy came to steal the gun. Maybe Joe lifted Haleighs mattress to see if the gun was under it only to notice she was dead.
Then they may have gone into damage control and taken her to the river. Little Junior did see something. Perhaps the couch was bouncing because they were wrapping her little body. I am so broken hearted that she is really gone.

Did RC hide that gun ,knowing what might happen? Left both his kids with ppl like that was a murder waitin to happen. I know RC was torn apart when he heard that Heligh was missing plus I think he felt from the start it was over drugs that he himself was/had been involved in.By now, Im thinkin it cudda neem anyone in that Trailor Park that ever took a pill or had a gun that someone else wanted.

Fyi, on the other matter…professional journalists covering a story try to collect contact info for all the players involved, and work to develop trusting source relationships. Anyone trying to spin someone’s access into something nefarious shows their lack of education about the process, how it works and how susceptible they are to being influenced by those with even less education and an agenda to misrepresent what they know so little about. Anytime we catch someone trying to spin sneaky on the downlow, those comments go poof, get edited for false or mistaken claims, or get sentenced to life in moderation hell. Often, we can tell who inspired them, usually one of the disgraced cons who “pimp” the case and accuse others of their crookery (if you spot it, you got it), if you get my drift. Not everyone in moderation is in that category by any means. But some are–and we know they know who they are. They may pop up and pop off on other sites. But if the alarm goes off when they try to sneak on here, you will know about it, or like the terrorist plot the FBI thwarts without fanfare, you may not. Regardless, thanks to our vigilant and caring readers, we are always on troll patrol; they are an insult to our posters and fooling themselves if they think we don’t see right through them, a public embarrasment. I am by no means an expert, but I know from experience in dealing with people who have the same mentality and simular upbringing as Misty that these type people become master manipulators very early.
As you know some people are better liars than others. People lie in different ways, and expose when they are lieng in different ways.
I have noticed several strategies Misty uses when being deceptive or when she wants to manipulate her interviewer.
One of which… she overcompinsates. Like when she refers to Haleigh as “our daughter” on the 911 call. Or when she was first interviewed about the brick used to prop the door and there was mention of nearby bricks.
I am bringing this to your attention because I also noticed in an early interview that when Misty was asked about friends and possible enemies she really emphasised the fact that she didn’t have any friends. She says there is only a coupe of people she hangs out with once in a while but not friends.
After learning of her 3 day party spree with “friends” her statement has always bothered me.
Could you ask a real expert if this might be an indication that one of her “friends” may know the truth and she was trying to insure no one started digging around and questioning them. They probably weren’t there, but she may have confided her ill feelings for Haleigh to them or they may have spoken about her plans for that particular evening. I do believe there is someone in her social circle (other than family) who she doesn’t want getting involved.

Art, I am one of those responders that have been in moderation on the three times that I have responded, or just to get some answers. I don’t understand why other than I am very critical of NG, particular in her over protection of Ronald and the fact that she is still using her so call victim of a crime sob story. She has an answer for every negative comment that is made about Ronald. This man, did not hunt for his daughter. I never saw a news clip with his son, after the daughter went missing, where most parents would attach their child to their hips until the case was solved for fear that someone might come back and harm the other child.
Also, when you were on NG on May 26 (I believe) there was a tape of Misty talking to her father and I clearly heard Misty telling her father, “If Ron would have only answered my phone calls that night, that she called and called, after she noticed the child was missing, and then when she opened the door, there he was just standing there” Did I miss something, first time I every heard that she had tried to call him that night. Couldn’t LE check the phone records to see if she did call him and where was he and why didn’t he answer the phone since he made so many phone calls to her.
Also, from the news reports, Misty was only around Ron and the children for three to four months. If you listen to NG and some of her guests’ statements they are under the assumption she has been there for ever. Misty is a SEVENTEEN YEAR OLD CHILD. Ron is 25 or 26, with two or three children. Misty was definitely being used as a babysitter, maid and sex toy by Ron. His Mother has spent her life getting Ron out of everything he has ever been arrested for. In the beginning everyone was afraid of Ron as he was some type of BAD NEWS BEAR. I believe that Ron, his mother and grandmother know more than they want to say and I believe they all used this dumb seventeen year old. I also think Ron married her because he was under the impression that a spouse could not testify against a spouse, not that Misty was trying to get protection, Ron was the one wanting protection as to testifying against him. I have grandchildren and no way would I expect a 17 year old (and particularly if I knew she had been on a 3 day drug binge) stay with my grandchildren
As far as LE letting Ron made a plea, this is absolutely unreal. But then the Bad Boy will get off again and go find another young teenager to take care of more kids of his.
Mr. Klass (sic) on NG told her exactly what Ron was and of course NG TRIED TO BITE HIS HEAD OFF and when MK would not back down, she said alright you don’t approve of his life style, that has nothing to do with the matter. Well she sure does not mind lo-rating Misty at every chance. This woman needs to be off television. I can’t wait to see how she handles Swift Justice. I would think the ABA would have something to say about the portraying of NG as to Justice.
