Casey Anthony Lawyers Blast Media After Jury Acquits!

Was the Casey Anthony jury correct in convicting her of only lying to police? Did the prosecution fail to make a solid case that proved her guilt beyond reasonable doubt? Or was the defense simply brilliant in a bumbling way as it threw spaghetti against the wall that stuck? Was the media unfair in coverage that demonized Casey?
Indeed, says Anthony lawyer Cheney Mason. Before he was caught on video tape giving the media the finger at the Casey lawyers victory party following her acquital on all charges related to killing her daughter, Mason unloaded a double barrel blast at hostile hosts and celebrity TV legal experts.
“I hope this is a lesson for those of you who have engaged in media assassination,” says Casey lawyer Cheney Mason, taking aim at hostle press coverage of his client over the last three years Anthony was under the media glare for allegedly murdering her two year old daughter Caylee.
He spoke out at a defense press conference following her acquital on all charges relating to Caylee’s killing. She was sentenced to four years in jail for lying to police on Thursday by Judge Belvin Perry and is expected to do no more than several weeks or months in jail after getting credit for time served in the Orange County Florida jail.
At the same presser, Jose Baez takes a softer approach you can see for yourself.
So how did they do it? Whether right or wrong, they laid out a defense take on the family dynamic, without prosecutors portraying a timeline of the relationships like Cindy-Casey love hate that made their evidence work with that dynamic, jurors were left to swallow and wallow in the gaps, never getting the full story and accurate story with anecdotes about the family dysfunction, and how it came to be.
So jurors were left with big questions, never knowing who to believe…With so many liars in the house, maybe they found it tough to determine WHO was telling how much of the truth and threw their hands up…
What do you think?

Hope the media who everyone (except the defense team) thinks have done an excellent job in their reporting continue to broadcast the picture of Mr. Mason and his very rude gesture. Maybe he possibly picked this up from his client. The people of Orange County should post this on every available spot.

The jury needs to stop making excuses and using confusion and frustration as an excuse. Their job was to work through the confusion and frustrationn and if they couldn't then say so. This is the digital age .One of the main reasons everyone is so angry is we watched the same testimony and evidence as the jurors and evidently paid closer and better attention than they had sworn to do. They didn't look at one piece of evidence or ask for help to clear up their confusion in order to come to a conclusion. Casey truly got a jury of her peers – lazy and self-indulgent. Interested more in going home and returning to their life than doing their sworn duty. Their behavior is the evidence. They are just going to have to put their big girl panties on and deal with the consequences of their actions or lack there of.
